playing house

i remember playing house at wee ages, pretending that i was old enough to use the oven and have a family of my own. it boggles my mind how quickly time goes and how turning on the oven and using the stove without having my mom next to me seems so passe now.

fast forward 20 years and playing house now consists of perusing kitchen stores, like Williams-Sonoma. i like pretending that anyone has a need for 300 different types of plates and fancy gadgets. i do anything the displays invite customers to-slice, dice, juice, sip, or admire.

these are some of my current favorites:

nespresso espresso maker and heating, milk frother.
{one of the things i sipped at Williams-Sonoma and it was absolutely divine}

an oldie but goodie--apple peeler.
{if i owned one of these, i think i'd go on an apple only diet, so fun.}

absolutely innovative ice cream scoop.
{perfect for cones, dishes, ice cream sandwiches & oohs and ahhs.}

ridiculously silly and darling.
{as someone who talks a lot with my hands, it could be problematic.}

what unnecessary, kitchen must-haves are you crushing on lately? please indulge me.
xo, H

{purchase these goodies through Cuisipro, Fred, Beater Blade, Nespresso, Williams-Sonoma, Cuisipro, and Fred accordingly.}

  3. Francis, I say it's a done deal. Can't wait.

    B, I love Le Creuset, so Julia Child and the Breville pie maker, how adorable and tiny is that? I want one to have for high teas and tiny scrumptious bites. Thanks for sharing.
